World Ozone Day Celebration at AGS Tithwal Date: 16 September 2026 Army Goodwill School Tithwal observed World Ozone Day on 16 September 2026 with great enthusiasm and environmental awareness. The programme aimed to educate students about the importance of the ozone layer and the need for its protection. An awareness lecture was delivered by Ms. Shabnam, who explained the significance of the ozone layer, its role in protecting life on Earth from harmful ultraviolet radiation, and the importance of adopting environment-friendly practices. Around 60 students actively participated in the programme. To mark the occasion and strengthen their commitment towards environmental protection, the students took a pledge to protect the ozone layer and contribute towards a cleaner, greener and healthier environment. The programme successfully created awareness among students and encouraged them to become responsible citizens and active contributors to environmental conservation.
